MT-LB DYNAMIC DRIVING SIMULATOR (FOR ADMS “STRELA-10”)

Designation: driver mechanic’s instruction in driving and mastering the skills of driving a transporter in various weather conditions, at any time of the day and year, during the operational training of staff in training class that preserves the transporter engine’s service life, fuel, oil and lubricants.

Ensures that the driver mechanic performs the following training tasks:

  • primary training (learning driving techniques);
  • preparatory practice (sustainment and mastering driving skills);
  • testing (driving test).

Supports the driver-mechanic in mastering the following skills:

  • preparation of a transporter for driving;
  • engine start in various weather conditions, including the use of a heater;
  • driving at the terrain with various landscape;
  • mastering driving exercises from the set of exercises supplied with the simulator;
  • operating devices and controls of a driver mechanic’s compartment;
  • operating communication devices.
Allows the instructor to:
  • assign exercises from the set supplied with the simulator;
  • set different parameters of exercises;
  • control the field of view of a trainee;
  • automatically record trainee’s errors and grade the tasks completed;
  • maintain voice communication with a trainee;
  • hear simulated sounds of transporter operation.
