MODERNIZATION OF 2К12 “KVADRAT” AIR DEFENSE MISSILE SYSTEM

Designation: modernized self-propelled short range ADMS “Kvadrat” is designed for engaging air targets flying at low, extremely low and medium altitudes. It has a high level of jamming resistance in the conditions of active radio countermeasures and provides engagement of bombers and multi-purpose aircrafts with high effectiveness.

ADMS units are equipped with digital signal processing, satellite system of navigation and geo positioning, automatic monitoring of technical condition, documenting of combat operation; data exchange with a higher command post and radar data acquisition from allied troops equipped with digital radars are also ensured.

COMPOSITION OF AIR DEFENSE MISSILE REGIMENT:

  • upgraded mobile altimeter PRV-16.
