AGAT – Control Systems JSC has developed an Automated Command Control Post System for radar company or mobile radar group (mobile low-altitude radar platoon). The system automates the acquisition, processing and retrieval of radar information from the standby sources and tactical control of the mobile low-altitude radar platoon when it comes in on alternative positions. It will replace the existing automated systems of the Belarusian Air Force and Air Defence.
The product is based on modern componentry, which significantly improves its technical characteristics. Thus, the number of tracked air objects was increased up to 500, the range of connected sources and consumers of information about the air environment was expanded to 10 units, including up to four radar stations with analogue output, up to four radar stations with digital output and up to two mobile radio altimeters with analogue output. In addition to the three automated workstations, there are four remote workstations connected via Ethernet. Connection of analogue radar equipments is carried out over Ethernet optical fiber cable by means of remote equipment, which enables to reduce emplacement time, decrease cable storage capacity and increase equipment outreach up to 2 km. Two diesel-generator sets provide standby emergency power supply, communication with the interactive information users is carried out via radio-relay line through the communications centre. The radar data processing limits are up to 1,200 km by coordinates, up to 120 km by altitude and up to 6,000 km/h by speed.
The new system will be on display at MILEX-2021.
